It all started in the old country. While visiting our relatives in Italy and enjoying an authentic wood-fired oven pizza on the southwest coast, we were inspired. After several discussions and as many pizzas, we made the final decision: it must be cooked at home. And Enoteca Monza Pizzeria Moderna was born.
As we grew up with our Nonna (grandmother in Italian) and the wonderful dishes she cooked, we couldn’t limit ourselves to pizzas. We asked her for all her recipes, begged her to help us improve them and created our menu – full of Italian classics and several contemporary favorites.
We built our first restaurant with Nonna’s principles in mind: simple and authentic. We have built Enoteca Monza in her honour and we are proud to share with all our customers the delights she has fulfilled in our youth. On the other hand, she is not really happy that we are shared her recipes with the public, but she will get over it.
